Video Conferencing

One of the goals of this project is to integrate the use of video conferencing. We are lucky enough to have the services of Dr. Hunter to help use use technology to reach beyond our school walls. Here are some of my suggestions:

• Grade 6: Speak with a class from one of the countries students are studying or interview a representative from the United Nations.
• Grade 7: Be able to examine artifacts from the NMAAHC (http://nmaahc.si.edu/).
• Grade 8: Be able to examine artifacts from the US Holocaust Memorial Museum (http://www.ushmm.org/) or interview a holocaust survivor.
